The second summer stop on the Garage Festival Tour was Sasquatch! Music Festival in the beautiful Gorge Amphitheatre near George, Washington. The four-day festival tops our list for most scenic venue and this year’s lineup will be hard to beat – notably Jungle, Kendrick Lamar, Lana Del Rey, Father John Misty, St. Vincent and Tame Impala. Through hot days and cool nights, we toughed it out with friends Zoe Lazerson and Ashley Jensen who camped with us all weekend long. Here are our highlights from the festival.

1. The view. It just doesn’t get any better than sitting on the hill at the main stage and staring at the Gorge.

2. Camping. Yes we woke up way too early every morning because it was too hot; yes we had to bundle up in our sleeping bags at night because it was too cold, and no, we didn’t take showers every day, but all of that didn’t stop us from having the best festival weekend (and tans!) ever.

3. Every day was man crush day.

4. The workout. Running from stage to stage (mostly following Zoe as she HAD to be front row for every show!), dancing, singing and even picking each other up, it sometimes felt like a four-day workout!

5. That time we yelled at Tyler during the Twenty One Pilots set and he turned and stared RIGHT AT US! ♥

6. Meeting Chuck. For Ashley it was a great experience not only meeting a photographer you respect, but also being able to shoot with him! Thanks Chuck!

7. Oh ya and Ashley also met Henry, the man of her dreams, on day 2!

8. Eating hot dogs on the BBQ for breakfast, lunch and supper! (Zoe also ate Lunchables at every meal!)

9. Unidentified flying objects. With all the crazy flags, balloons, stuffed animals, bananas and miscellaneous flying contractions, we narrowly missed getting obliterated by a huge, flying donut during Tame Impala!

10. Going to your first music festival ever and leaving with photos and memories that will last forever.
