No matter what, we’re always down for shopping! And when in Dubai, one has to visit the souks in Deira to find anything and everything you want. And if you’re willing to bargain, you’ll walk away with great finds for cheap. The Souks of Dubai are Arabian markets where things are bought, sold and exchanged. They also hit all of the senses: the Perfume Souk is easy on the nose, the Spice Souk smells like a potpourri of spice, incense, nuts and teas, the Textile Souk is a colourful stroll through shops full of fabric, silk and cashmere, and the Gold Souk blinds you with, well, gold! You can easily spend an entire day walking through the snaky alleys, or labyrinth, that crisscross the area that juts out over the Dubai Creek.
We decided to spend the morning at the Souks of Dubai with Hind Adib and despite the hustle and bustle of the market, Hind was the centre of attention. All she needed to stand out amongst the crowd was a black Long Sleeve Swing Dress, a couple accessories and her colourful personality (and hair!). Check out the photos below from our little adventure in the souks. We left with plenty of souvenirs!
